Accommodation

Studying at MCM means more than lectures and examinations.
It means living, learning, and growing in one of Europe’s most unique
and welcoming environments.

MCM does not operate institutional halls of residence. Most students rent privately in Swieqi, St Julian’s, Sliema, Pembroke, or Gżira, all within easy reach of the campus.

Where Most MCM Students Live

Swieqi Walking distance €450 to €650
St Julian's 10 min walk / 5 min bus €500 to €750
Sliema 15 min bus €550 to €800
Pembroke 15 min walk €450 to €600
Gżira 20 min bus €400 to €600

Indicative Rental Costs

Type Monthly (EUR)
Room in shared apartment €450 to €800
Studio €750 to €1.100
One-bedroom €900 to €1.400
Two-bedroom (shared) €1.200 to €1.800

Rents are typically higher between June and September.

How to Find Accomodation

Most students secure permanent housing in the first two to three weeks after arrival, having stayed in temporary accommodation initially. We strongly recommend not signing a long-term lease before viewing in person.

What to Look For

  • Written lease in English
  • Clear inclusion of utilities
  • Itemised inventory at handover
  • Receipt for security deposit
  • Confirmation of landlord registration with the Housing Authority
